Mrs. Blanche Irene Graham Dies in Store
Mrs. Blanche Irene Graham, 57, of Kirksville, collapsed and died of an apparent heart attack at 4:30 yesterday afternoon. Employed at the Chuck Wagon on the corner of Washington and Elson, Mrs. Graham had gone next door to make a purchase at the A&P Store. An ambulance was called but Mrs. Graham was pronounced dead.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the Funeral Chapel of Davis & Davis. The Rev. Archie Cooper will conduct the services and burial will be in the Highland Park cemetery.
Mrs. Graham is survived by three sons, Bob Pettit, Kern Pettit and Rick Pettit, all of Kirksville; three daughters, Lola Graham, of Bridgeton, Dixie Lee Sothers, of Trenton and Dorothy Mae William, of Kansas City and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kern Pettit who died March 19, 1955 and one son.
