Emily C. Fisher, 93, De Pere, died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at a local hospital. Emily was born Nov. 28, 1910, in the Town of Clay Bank, in Door County, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Slavik) Cihlar. She was united in marriage to Harry Fisher Oct. 21, 1931, in Algoma. Harry preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1994. Emily was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. She enjoyed crocheting rugs, going to the casino, and was also an avid Packer fan.

Survivors include her children, Betty Janssen, De Pere, Norbert (Judy) Fisher, Green Bay, Mary Ann (Richard) Bracker, Madison, Donna (William) Cota, Santa Maria, Calif., Ralph (Joann) Fisher, Green Bay, Judith (David) Thorpe, Green Bay, Stanley (Donna) Fisher, Kaukauna, Harry Fisher Jr., Green Bay, and Thomas (Sue) Fisher, Green Bay; two brothers, Charles and Clarence Cihlar, both of Sturgeon Bay; two sisters, Agnes Hanson, Sturgeon Bay, and Ceilia Melchiori, Chicago; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Fisher, De Pere; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Gertrude, Sylvia, Dorla and Carol Cihlar; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Edward and Robert; son-in-law, Leo Janssen; four brothers, George, Peter, Paul and Joseph; and four sisters, Frances Everson, Mary Bonney, Elizabeth Hopp and Helen Zirbel Schlise.

Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. 10th St., De Pere, Monday, April 12, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday, April 13, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 1307 Lourdes Ave., from 2 p.m. until time of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m. at the church with Father Conrad Kratz, O.Praem., officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Algoma.
