Robert E. Lee Davis was the son of William Henry Davis and Mary Elizabeth Wear Patterson Davis. He was married to Nellie Elizabeth O'Conner.Their children are:
Joseph Albert Davis-buried in Colbert Okla Homa
Infant Daughter Davis-buried in Grange Hall Cemetery
William Henry Davis-killed in World War II-in Italy.

Hold Services for R.L. Davis
Funeral services for Robert L. "Bob" Davis, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Corley"s Chapel. Rev. Billy Burke, pastor of The Westside Babtist Church and Rev. Claude Gordon, Rice Babtist Church, ministers conducted the rites. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
A farmer,Davis died early Tuesday at Memorial Hospital.He was a native of Rankin,but a lifelong resident of Corsicana.Survivors other than the widow of Corsicana are three brothers,Will Patterson,Bardwell,A.L. Patterson Okla Homa,and Elex Patterson,Big Springs,two sisters,Mrs.Lula Powell,Kemp,and Mrs. Will Evans,Athens,and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were: Ed Blackburn,Travis Arnett,Victor Davis,L.E. Knotts,Frank Arnett and E.E. Smith.
