Mrs. Shepherd died Dec. 17 at a local convalescent hospital. She was born in Carson City, Nev. and lived 68 years in California, the past 55 years in El Dorado County.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Shepherd was a member of the Diamond Springs Rebekah Lodge and a charter member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
She is survived by children Archie Shepherd and Audrey Shepherd, both of Alaska; Marvin Shepherd, Mrs. L. D. Rohrer and Noreene Plett, all of Placerville; Richard Shepherd and JoAnn Sindel, both of Forest Hill; Joe Shepherd, Jr. of Malaysia; Tom Shepherd of West Point; Barbara Pentz of Reno, Nev.; Junette Gaydon and Bill Shepherd, both of Auburn; 34 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren."
