Agnes M. Johnson, 92, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.
Born October 13, 1921, in Burnside, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Sarah (Clark) Schrock. She was first married to Robert D. Johnson. Bob died May 26, 1986. She later married Frederick G. Johnson. Fred died August 6, 2000.
Agnes was a long-time member of Grace Community Church, Willow Street. She retired from the School District of Lancaster where she worked as a custodian at the Elizabeth R. Martin Elementary School, Lancaster.
She will be lovingly missed by her daughters, Janet M., wife of Steven R. Younger, of Lancaster; Shirley A. Lenox, of Washington Boro; a son, Robert D. Johnson, Jr., husband of MaryAnn, of Milford, DE; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter as well as a sister, Shirley Smith, of Belsano, PA. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Bracken and Dorothy Grahm.
Funeral Services will be held at Grace Community Church, 212 Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street, PA 17584 on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11 AM (Viewing 10-11 AM) with Pastor Mike Sigman officiating. Interment will be in the Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
