MECHANICVILLE Mrs. Mary M. Fuschino , 87, of Maple Street, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Resurrection Nursing Home, Castleton, after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Mechanicville, she was born in Green Island, August 12, 1922, daughter of the late John Mona and John and Lena Michele Anatriello. Mary worked for Cluett-Peabody Manufacturers in Troy for several years and later co-owned and operated the Family Bakery in Mechanicville for many years with her sister, Fran, after working for Golden Krust Bakery in Mechanicville. A devout Catholic, Mary was a member of the Assumption-St. Paul Parish all of her life. She was a member of the Peter Purcell Post, Sacred Heart Society, and a lifetime member of the Rosary Alter Society, all in Mechanicville. Mary loved her family and was a proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed cooking and baking for them, and especially liked family get-togethers and holidays when everyone came home. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Samuel S. Fuschino , who died in 1979; her son-in-law, Carmen D'Amico; and sisters, Kathryn Enzogna, Antoinette Santa Barbara, Josephine Funaro and Frances LeClaire. Survivors include her children, Dolores A. D'Amico of Clifton Park, Frank R. Fuschino of Mechanicville, John (Marilyn) Fuschino of Colonie and Mary Margaret Kenna of East Greenbush. Mary has seven grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Johnathan, Jillian, John, Joseph and Joshua, as well as a great- grandson, Ayden. She is also survived by her sister, Carmella Taglione of Mechanicville; brothers Matteo Anatriello of Ballston Spa and Guy Anatriello of Ravena; along with several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Assumption-St. Paul North Main Street Church. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Mechanicville. Calling hours at the Assumption-St. Paul Church, North Main St., in Mechanicville on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Assumption-St. Paul Church Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 308, Mechanicville, NY 12118, in loving memory of Mary M. Fuschino .
