Mrs. Emaline Liike, widow of the late Leopold Liike, died at her home in Knoxville, Monday, October 23, aged nearly 90 years.
Emaline Waisner, daughter of Charles and Fanny (Ahn) Waisner, was born in Albany township, Beeks county, Pennsylvania, October 27, 1855.
The deceased came with her parents to Marysville, in 1856. She was united in marriage to Leopold Liike, September 15, 1872. Mr. Liike died in 1922. Mr. and Mrs. Liike moved to Knoxville in 1905.
While still in her infancy, the deceased was baptized in the Lutheran Church and later in life she affiliated with the Methodist Church.
The deceased is survived by three sons and a daughter, Lee and Charles Liike, of Knoxville, Arthur Liike, of Bartlesville, Okla., and Mrs. Maude Wagaman of Los Angeles, Calif., seven grandsons, four granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, a brother,Jacob Waisner, of Albia, a sister, Mrs Ida Durkes, of Dallas Center, and a half-brother, George Ahn, of Denver, Colorado.
Funeral services will be held from the Methodist Church, in Knoxville. Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W.J. Fowler, of Sigourney, assisted by Rev. John F. Rex. Burial will be made in the Marysville Cemetery.
