Lynn R. Bernard, 51, of Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.

He was employed with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and was a member of Paxton Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the last graduating class of the John Harris High School.

He was a youth basketball coach and an avid sports fan, especially of Penn State.

He was the son of Ruth C. (Cummings) Bernard of Harrisburg and the late Lee T. Bernard.

Surviving are one daughter, Lauren M. Bernard; two sons, Clark G. Bernard and John R. Bernard, all of Harrisburg and one brother, Lee T. Bernard II of Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2004 at 10 a.m. in the Paxton Presbyterian Church, Paxtang & Sharon Streets, Paxtang. Burial will be held in Shoop's Cemetery, Locust Lane. A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2004 from 6-8 p.m., in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Paxtang.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, Asthma Division, 3001 Old Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
