Julia Merlock (nee Svete), 86, of .North Chicago, Illinois died suddenly Wednesday, February 27, 1991 at Condell Memorial Hospital. She was born. May 30, 1904 In Waukegan and had lived in North Chicago all of her life. She owned and operated for many years with her late husband, Frank, Murph's Tavern on 11th & Park Ave. in North Chicago. She was a member of Mother Of God Church and was an avid bowler all of her life. She was a member of the Foss -Park Senior Citizens and Foss Park Senior Citizens Bowling, a member of the Christian Women's Solidarity and the St. Annes K.S.K.J. L:odge #127. •

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1O AM, Saturday, March 2, 1991 at Mother Of God Church. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery Libertyville. Friends may call from 4 to 8PM on Friday at the NEMANICH-SALATA FUNERAL HOME, 611 Tenth St., North Chicago.
