Nancy Anna Witt, daughter and second of ten children born to Elisha Witt & Phoebe Dodd. Her nine siblings are: William-Charles-Abner-Elisha Jr.-Nathaniel-Rachael-David-John & Silas.
She married William Holeman, son of Tandy & Elizabeth Abney Holeman in Estill Co., KY. on 21 Sept 1814, and filed for divorce in August 1825, which was granted. Their children are 1. George Washington Holeman, who, on June 20, 1844 married the widow of his 1st cousin, Leander Witt. 2. Silas Holeman 3. James Holeman 4. Elisha Holeman, who married Mary “Polly” Ellington 5. Martin Holeman 6. Elizabeth Holeman. Her stone is a large 3" thick tablet stone that is broken in several places.
