According to my info she was first married to Nicholas Thiebes and second to Benjamin Franklin Reed. The death certificate states she is widowed.
Her parents are listed as John William Pohlig and Anna Maria (Hufschmidt)Pohlig. Info on death record was provided by Alfred Reed who is her son according to my info.
Augusta Reed's grave is in a small cemetery on private property on the south side of Highway 100 just about 500 - 600 ft east of the intersection with Fiddlecreek Road. The small cemetery, which is enclosed by a fence with an operating gate, is well maintained and lies about 200 - 300 ft. behind the farmhouse. The property at one time belonged to H Thiebes so I assume it was a private family cemetery. The property was later owned by the Schuster family and there are several members of this family buried here as well. Augusta Reed has her own, granite headstone, nearby that of her first husband, Nicholas Thiebes, also buried here. There is a small, 6" high x 8" wide, stone marker bearing the letters "N.T.". I would assume this is his grave marker. This information provided by Jim Reed.
