Mrs. Ethel Agnes Kelley Smith, 91, of 1424 West 11th Street, Panama City, Florida, died Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, in a local nursing home. Ethel moved to Panama City in 1946 from Crestview, Florida. She retired from Lisenby Hospital where she was a registered nurse. She was also a member of Saint Andrew United Methodist Church. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Smith and her parents Arthur Noah Kelly and Agnes Cutts Kelley. She was survived by one son, two sisters, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Ed. Britain officiating. Graveside services followed at 1 p.m. in Old Holt Cemetery, Holt, Florida, with the Reverend John Spivey officiating. Gene Kelley II, Larry Miller, Randy Corbin, Britt Corbin, Andy Kelly and Denny Stricklin served as pallbearers.
