John Edward Mayberry, son of Robert Mayberry, of Shenango township, a prominent young tin worker of this city, passed away at his home, 61 Lathrop street, at nine o'clock Monday evening, aged 30 years. Several weeks ago Mr. Mayberry was taken ill and his case was soon diagnosed as typhoid fever. Despite the best efforts of the attending physicians he grew gradually worse and medical skill was powerless to check the course of the malady. He continued to grow weaker as the disease progressed and Monday evening the end came.

The deceased was an excellent young man and bore a high reputation in the community. His death is a great shock to his wife and a little daughter, Pearl, is also left to mourn the loss of a devoted father.

Several brothers and sisters survive him as follows. William and Ralph Mayberry, of Shenango township; Isaac Mayberry, of Wayne township; Mrs. Mary Reed, of Shenango township; and Matthew, Joseph and Mrs. William Motherat of this city.

The deceased attended the Savannah church before coming to this city and was a young man of very good habits. Funeral services in Savannah church Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment at Savannah cemetery.
