I came across his obituary and there seems to be some confusion on who his parents are. You have what's on his death certificate but his obituary says "The Rev. Mr. Sandlin was born in Georgia, the son of the late Williams and Deborah Sandlin." He is survived by 7 sons, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. One brother mentioned, B.H. Sandlin, is living with his mother in the 1900 census. This and more is pointing towards William (65857567) and Deborah (65857691) being the parents. Nancy (45685992) and Jesse (see Nancy's memorial) may actually be his grandparents. Although not totally unheard of Nancy would have been 46 at the time of his birth.
