He was the City Attorney for McLean, Texas. He was a graduate of McLean high school and a graduate of Texas Tech and Texas University. He practiced law in Shamrock before going to McLean. He was the son of Winnie Ola Butler Massay Pinkerton and Walter Minnis Massay. Dennis Newbery Massay and Rebecca Ann Buchanan Massay were his grandparents and are both burried in this cementry. His only sister, Dorothy Minnis Massay Huggins died on Feb 1,1988 and is burried at the Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton, Texas. He was my only uncle on my mother's side but died in July before I was born in October of 1943.
