Thomas Lee McConley was born March 26, 1942, in Elko, Nev. He is the son of Betty Jo Shelton of Kingman and Ira Lee McConley of Ely, Nev., both deceased. Thomas passed away on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, in Reno, Nev.
He is survived by life partner, Tina Barrera of Reno; son, Tristan McConley of Reno; sister, Elizabeth Lee Camp of Knoxville, Tenn.; brother, Robert Gerald McConley of Ely; sister, Colleen Famoso of Kingman; granddaughters, Kyra McConley and Kelah McConley of Reno. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Fred Garcia of Knoxville, Christopher Gamble of Knoxville, Terry Johnson of Moyock, N.C., Robert McConley of Ely, Ira McConley of Oroville, Calif., Steven Walsh of Phoenix, Laurie Jo McAfee of Kingman, Lance Cpl. Emmanuella Famoso of Beaufort, S.C., Elizabeth Famoso of Kingman and Shalina Rohm of Kingman.
Thomas was a devoted father and a loving brother and uncle. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor. His laughter was contagious. We will miss him dearly.
Thomas was interred Monday, Oct. 18, at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nev.
