SACRAMENTO, CALIF. -- Comer Donald Christy, 86, a retired district manager for Sherwin Williams, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000. Mr. Christy was a native of Speer,Wyo. He was a lifelong resident of Ocala, and moved to California seven months ago. He was a member of American Legion, and Elks Lodge. He was a U.S. Army and Korean War veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Alida Christy, Sacramento, Calif; stepdaughter, Claudia Robinson, Sacramento; stepson, Michael Heacock, Sacramento; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in Jacksonville.
