Ruth Doris Simonson was born at home February 26,1905,in Milwaukee Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Seymour A. and Josie Belle Simonson. On April 15,1930, she married Erling G. Espedahl in Daytona Beach, Florida. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary shortly before his death in 1988.
