Maude V. Peffley Dies in Wichita
Mrs. Maude V. Peffley, 79, of 809 S. Jefferson, died Tuesday night at about 9 o'clock at Wesley Hospital in Wichita.
Born at Mayfield on June 18, 1880, she had lived in Sumner County all her life. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray Johnson, Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Stewart Lyon, Wichita; one granddaughter, Mrs. Ben Coffin, Wichita; and one great-granddaughter, Catherine Coffin.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 at the Frank Funeral Home with the Rev. G. E. Heitmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening.
