Lydia Bunce
GALLIPOLIS - Mrs. Lydia Bunce, 78, Mill Creek, Gallipolis, died Thursday in Baltimore, Md., where she had gone a week ago to visit a daughter, Mrs. Tressie Brown.
Born in Gallia County, she was a daughter of the late Colonel and Helen Reed Betz. She married Richard B. Bunce in 1909. He died in 1932.
Surviving are a son, Edwin of Sandusky; four daughters, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Dora Waddell of Gallipolis, Mrs. Maxine Gates of Columbus and Miss Bernice Bunce at home; two sisters, Nora Betz of Columbus and Daisy Saunders of Toledo; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Halley officiating. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery, Addison Township.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday.
