Rites Held Tuesday For Mrs. Carl Fessler.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carl Fessler, 73, were held Tuesday morning from St. Gregory's Catholic church in St. Nazianz. Mrs. Fessler died at Holy Family hospital Saturday.

The former Mary Himmelsbach, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Himmelsbach of St. Nazianz, was born February 20, 1882, in the town of Schleswig. She was married to Carl Fessler in St. Nazianz in 1904.

The couple lived in St. Nazianz for several years after their marriage and then moved to a farm two miles west of the village. In 1942 the couple retired from the farm and moved back to St. Nazianz. Mrs. Fessler was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and the Christian Mothers' society of the St. Gregory church. She and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary June 6, 1954.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. William Bushman, Osman; Mrs. Ira Holmer, Minneapolis; Mrs. Clarence Brill, New Holstein. Also eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
