Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Duane Dionne will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Fessler was born Nov. 10, 1896, in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Anton and Christina Trost Fessler. He married Dorothy M. Bauer Nov. 8, 1921, at Silver Lake. After their marriage they farmed in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids, for two years, prior to moving to Manitowoc to reside. He was then employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., retiring in 1960. He was a member of Eagles Aerie No. 706 of Manitowoc. Mrs. Fessler preceded him in death Dec. 19, 1964.
Survivors include three brothers, August, Frank and William, of Rt. 5, Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Baryenbruch, of Manitowoc and Mr. Ann Ewald, of Milwaukee and nieces and nephews. Five brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from4 to 9 p.m. Friday, where a wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
