Carl A. Fessler, 85, of Route 1, Kiel, died Sunday morning, Jan. 20, at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton.
Funeral services will be 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Cletus LaMere will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Fessler was born Nov. 4, 1899, on the Town of Eaton, son of the late Joseph and Margaret Meyer Fessler. He attended St. Gregory School. Mr. Fessler farmed in the Town of Eaton most of his life, retiring in 1970.
He married Marie Schad May 18, 1927, in School Hill . Mr. Fessler was a former member of St. Gregory Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; a sister, Frances Woelfel of New Holstein; a brother-in-law, Anton Riesterer of rural Kiel; a sister-in-law, Alexia Fessler of Manitowoc; other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call at St. Gregory Church, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz.
