MARY RIESTERER

Mrs. Anton (Mary) Riesterer, 71, of Rt.1, Kiel, died Friday evening at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Monday at Christianson-Deja Funeral
Home, and at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev.
Cyril Dikrell(sic), S.D.S., will officiate and burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Mrs. Riesterer, nee Mary Fessler, was born July 1, 1902, at St. Nazianz,
daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Meyer Fessler. She attended St.
Gregory School and was a housewife all her life. She was married to Anton
Riesterer July 12, 1921, at St. Nazianz, celebrating their golden wedding
anniversary in 1971. They farmed at rural Kiel until their retirement in
1964. She was a member of St. Gregory Christian Mothers Sodality.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, four daughters, three brothers,
Frank, of Kewaunee, Carl of rural Kiel and Peter, of Manitowoc; a sister,
Mrs. Alex (Frances) Woelfel Sr., of rural Kiel; 47 grandchildren and five
great grandchildren. Two brothers, Mathew and Joseph, and two grand-
children preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Sunday,
where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
