PETER J. RIESTERER

Peter J. Riesterer, 88, of St. Nazzianz, died Monday morning at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
He was born Oct. 29, 1897, in the Town of Eaton (Manitowoc County),a son of the late John and Rosa Anhalt Riesterer. He attended St. Gregory Catholic School, St. Nazianz.
On Nov. 18, 1919, he married Elizabeth Hanke at Charlestown. The couple farmed in the Town of Eaton and he employed in construction.Mrs. Riesterer preceded him in death.
He was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.

Survivors include two sons both of St. Nazianz; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five brothers; and a sister. He was preceded in death by a daughter, two great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. A funeral Mass will be at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, preceded by family rites at 11 a.m. at the Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Cletus La Mere,
pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
