He was born March 13, 1914 in Milbank, SD to Ariel and Bertha (Lowe) Lee. Woody married Agnes L. Hanson on September 23, 1937 in Lewiston, Idaho.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy (Loren) Murren, Rapid City, Maryann (Larry) Petrick, Sturgis; a son, William ‘Bill' Lee and wife Judy; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes on August 14, 1994.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home with Chaplain Randy Bradley officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Rapid City.
