Maisie M. Allis, 78, of Nichols RD 2, West Warren, died Saturday at Robert Packer Hospital , Sayre. She was born June 24, 1902 in Orwell township, the daughter of Bruce and Anna Nichols Lent. She married her husband, Leon, on Dec. 17, 1917 in Nichols and spent her life as a devoted mother and homemaker. Survived by husband, Leon; four daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Gladys) Cobb of Leraysville, Mrs. Carol Harford of Ulster, Mrs. Horace ( Alberta) Baldwin of Montrose and Mrs. Ethan ( Donna) Doane of Owego; three sons, Harold of Nichols, Robert of West Warren and Leon Jr. of West Warren; 28 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Any memorials may be directed to the Windham Ambulance Association in her memory. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2 p.m. at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 82 Main St., Nichols with the Rev. George Ayers officiating. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Jillson Cemetery, Windham Center.
