Dan Graber was born the son of Joseph Carson Graber and Sarah Elizabeth Fosdick in North Dakota. Following the Great Depression, his father moved them to Oregon. There, on July 22, 1950, Dan married Gloria Lois Lapham, the daughter of Theodore Alexander Lapham and Alice Lucretia Wellin. Following their marriage, Dan adopted Gloria's daughter, Crystal, from a prior marraige and they then had a son together named Steve. In about 1974, Dan, Gloria, and their children moved to California, setteling in Westminster. Dan worked most of his working life as a machinist.
Dan passed away on November 24, 2009. A memorial service was held on November 27, 2009 at Westminster Memorial Park.
