HILL, EMERSON R., "BILL", age 92, of Birmingham, AL, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2005. He was preceded in death by his
son, Jerry Hill. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Bernice Adelia Hill; his daughters, Debby (Wayne) Fleming of Birmingham and Sherron (Patrick) McCarthy of Sacramento, California; six grandchildren, Christopher and Jennifer Fleming, Jeremy and Allison McCarthy, Erin Smith and Bronwyn Hill; and two great grandchildren. Mr. Hill retired in 1972 from McGough Bakeries and in 1987 from Coca-Cola. Mr. Hill was a life member of 66th Street Baptist Church and a current member of South Roebuck Baptist Church. He was a longtime member of Woodsman of the World. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel with Rev. Joe Booth and Rev. Chris Crain officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson
Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel is directing.
