Oscar E. Wessel, of Pearce, Ariz., died Oct. 5, 2010 at the age of 79. He was born in Mobridge, S.D. on April 11, 1931 to Jacob Wessel and Magdalina Vollmer.
Oscar lived in Arizona for 47 years, and in the Pearce area for 17 years. He was a retired construction worker and was in the Navy during the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife Barbara, two sisters, many nieces and nephews, and nine step-children.
Visitation was at 1 p.m. and Memorial Services at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, at the LDS Church in Pearce. Deposition was planned at the Animas-Cotton City Cemetery in Cotton City, N.M."
