Chico Weekly Chronicle-Record, Saturday, June 4, 1892, pg 2 col 3: Death of Mrs. D.A. Hutchins. Mrs. Elizabeth Hutchins, late wife of D.A. Hutchins, breathed her last at the family residence on Butte creek yesterday afternoon. She was 56 years of age, a native of Michigan and had resided in this State for many years. The family lived at Paradise before coming to this vicinity. Deceased leaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss. The funeral will take place at 2 o’clock this afternoon and the remains will be interred in Chico cemetery.
