Bendy married Harmon Pratt DeFee 17 Dec 1868, Pike County, Alabama. They had five sons and one daughter.(Names are on Harmon's FA grave site).
Sidney was known as "Bendy". Found that while searching the Georgia Census records. She is annotated as "Bendy" on the 1850 Harris County, GA. Census. On the 1860 Georgia Census she is listed as "S.F.".
Sadly Bendy died much too young (Age 36)...Harmon would later marry Ella Houston on 3 Jun 1885 in Hunt Co, TX and have two more children.
Bendy is buried beside Harmon in McWright Cemetery, Hunt County, TX.
Harmon was a brother to my Great Grandfather, Green Pinkham DeFee.
