Riesterer, Steven R. (Jan. 19, 1919-April 24, 1997 –husband of Mae Schneider [married April 18, 1942 at St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Spring Valley, Town of Meeme] –son of John Riesterer and Rosa Anhalt –born Town of Eaton –laborer at engine production company –on May 7, 1954 purchased the 20 acres of the W1/2 of the SW1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 25, Town of Eaton from his brother Joseph and had a house built at 18524 Church Road –on Jan. 20, 1982 sold 18 of his 20 acres to the Salvatorian Fathers, with Steven keeping only the house on a 2 acre lot –Steven lived here until his death in 1997 –soon after this, on June 27, 1997, his widow Mae sold this house to her son-in-law Mark Preston and his wife Laura Riesterer –died from “probable ruptured abdominal aneurysm”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 6, Row 1, Lot 17] [marriage record Manitowoc 31-451] [death record Manitowoc 103-227]
