Schnettler, Joseph (July 14, 1866-Sept. 19, 1941 –husband of Gertrude Meyer [married May 18, 1897 at St. Gregory] –son of John Schnettler and Regina Lubeley –born City of Sheboygan, with his family moving to a farm near St. Nazianz in 1868 –farmer –on Nov. 28, 1902 purchased his father's farm at 16404 Christel Road –in 1906 the current house that stands on this farm was
built –his wife Gertrude lived on this farm until her death in 1912 –Joseph lived and worked on this farm until selling to his son-in-law William L. Christel on Feb. 27, 1929 –in 1929 retired from the farm and moved to St.
Nazianz –on June 6, 1929 purchased the vacant lot at 203 East Birch Street and had a house built –lived here until his death in 1941 –died from "pulmonary embolism following operation for infected and enlarged prostate –had enlarged prostate containing stones")
