Art was born in Ericson, NE. Attended University of Omaha, Accounting School in Washington D.C. Received Civil Service Appointment to the Pentagon. Served in European Theater, WWII, Adj. General's Office in Litchfield, England where he met and married Ivy. He was also worked in the Adj. General's office in France and Belgium, Mutual and United of Omaha Investment Dept.
