Josephine Ann Malcolm, 91, passed through heaven's gate Oct. 23, 2010. She was born May 3, 1919, in Chadron, Neb. She lived in Rye for over 35 years and taught in District 70 schools. She had a deep love for her family and the Greenhorn Mountains. She was a Christian woman and loved the Lord. Preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Malcolm; and daughter-in-law, Rachel Malcolm. She is survived by children, Hugh (Jane) Malcolm Alamogordo, N.M., John Malcolm Federal Way, Wash., Sue (Terrence) Terrill, Pueblo West, Colo., and David (Debbie) Malcolm of Parker, Colo. She has 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Cremation at her request. Memorial service, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, Colorado City Community Church, Colorado City. Private internment at Brookside Cemetery. The family requests donations to Rye Fire Protection District and Gideons International. Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com.
