Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 11, in Wolbach for Mrs. George M. Bing, who died Dec. 9 in Blair.
Mrs. Bing was born in Durham, Canada, Jan. 31, 1873. She and the Reverend Bing lived in Nora in the early '30's, where he was pastor of the Methodist church for about six years.
Mrs. Bing had made her home in Blair since her husband's death in 1940.

Funeral services were held here Friday morning at 10:30 in the Methodist Church for Mrs. Edna M. Bing, 80, wife of the late Rev. George Bing, a former pastor here who passed away in February 1940. (funeral details followed)
Mrs. Bing was born January 31, 1873 in Durham, Canada and passed away at the Crowell Memorial Home at Blair December 9, 1953. She is survived by her three children, Mrs. Franklin Johnson, Hayden, Colo; Mrs. Ralph Beckman, Los Angeles, Calif; and Dr. Kenneth Bing, Greenville, No. Carolina. all the children were present for the funeral.
