Those from the township of Hedrick that attended the funeral of Mrs. Eliza Ott, held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon, were Mrs. Dan Fear, Miss Dorothy Ott, Charles Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Boldosier and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Beman of Delta; Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Huyck of Toledo; John Slate and son Jack of Kinross; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wharton and Mr. and Mrs. William Ott of Oskaloosa. Mrs. Ott was an old Hedrick resident, but of late years spent the winters with her children and she had just been at the home of her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Will Ott in Oskaloosa, when she slipped on the stairs and fell, fracturing her hip. She had been in the Mahaska hospital in Oskaloosa for 11 weeks and she passed away Thursday evening.
