Son of William Nathaniel Thaxton and Talmarcan Zadie Parker Thaxton. Married Emogene Roebuck June 24, 1933. Had one daughter, Emma Virginia.
He had 2 brothers, Curtis and Hugh and 3 sisters, Era, Dessie and Eva. Eva is the only one still living.
His family owned a saw mill and he worked there with his father and brothers. They also farmed.
Funeral service was by Rev. D. H. Motherly. Died from TB. Good Christian, Loved country music and was a good musician.
He left this earth too soon but he lives on in the hearts of his loved ones.
Missed by many, especially his daughter Virginia. God bless you Dad.
