WWI veteran, married Hazel Sallenger in Mt. Auburn, Christian, Illinois, daughter June Louise. Moved to Arizona in 1928, first to Globe then to Phoenix. Jesse worked at the central Post Office until his retirement about 1956, retireing as Supervisor. After retirement Jesse returned to Phoenix Tech High School to get his certification in radio and television repair. He graduated just as new technology entered the arena and his studies became a thing of the past.
Jesse was active in the Masons for his entire adult life and attained 33rd degree in the Scottish Rite about 1958 in Phoenix Arizona
