Nearly three weeks ago Charles slipped on the cement floor of his barn and fractured his hip from which he never recovered. He died January 17, 1920 at 80 years old. Funeral services were conducted by Rev Walter Clement at his home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
He was the son of Edward and Mary Ann Suydam Allen. He married Jane Beadle Allen and then Charlotte DeGarmo Bonner Allen.
Besides his wife he has a one sister Mrs Helen Casler of Pulasi and several nieces and nephews.
