Bloomingdale - Mr. Samuel Franklin Adams, 80, died on Saturday, December 14, at Candler Hospital. The Chatham County native was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church. He retired from Builders Transport and served his country in the U. S. Army Air Force during WWII. Survivors: his wife of 50 years, Dorothy C. Adams of Bloomingdale; son and daughter-in- law, Dr. Samuel F. Adams, Jr., and Larren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m. Monday, December 15, at the Funeral Home. Funeral: 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, December 17, in the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel in Pooler. Burial: Gravel Hill Cemetery. Thomas C.
