BLOOMINGDALE – George Benneau Allen, 72, died Sunday at Moss Oaks Health Care in Pooler after a long illness.

The Macon native was a member of First Baptist Church and a salesman for Builderama.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise Conaway Allen of Bloomingdale; a sister Mrs. Eugenia A. Muller of Jacksonville, Fla,; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 3 p.m. today at Terry C. Massey Funeral Home, burial in Grave Hill Cemetery in Pooler.
