Henry George Beauford, 82 of 3915 Louisville Road, died Monday at Oceanside Nursing home after a long illness.
The Chatham County native was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was a retiree of Central of Georgia Railroad.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Callie McKuhen Beauford of Garden City; a son, Howard Beauford of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Gail Cason of Garden City; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Joyce Fanny and Mrs. Gwen Moss, both of Rincon, Mrs. Peggy Barnett of Marietta and Mrs. Betty Kea of Lincolnton; a brother B. C. Beauford of Pooler, 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Terry C. Massey Funeral Home, burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
