Thomas was one of the first to fall from Twigg's fire and was shot while standing near Craig's corner. He was riddled with eight bullets in the region of the hips and in the hand. He was 33 years of age and leaves a wife and one son, a boy 8 years old. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and Carpenters Union. The K.P. had charge of the funeral services which were held at the home on East 7th at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
