Elizabeth was the daughter of John M. Calhoun & Susan M. Tracy. She married Thomas Sylvester Parsons on 16 April at St Paul's and they had 5 children. The family moved to northern California in 1869 and established a ranch near Hopland. Son Thomas Henry died young. The other four children all lived to adulthood and were Robert Francis, John Clement, George William and Mary Elizabeth.
