Amelia Rose Pimple, of 426 Fox St., died Thursday, April 16, 1987 at her home. She was 72. Mrs. Pimple was born Sept. 24, 1914 in Sterling, the daughter of Henry and Myrtle Schaub Sewald. She married Geroge Pimple in 1937 in Sidney, Neb. They moved to this area from Sterling in 1970. A homemaker, Mrs. Pimple was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Paul Sewald. She is survived by her husband of Longmont; four daughters, Patricia Johnson of San Antonio, Texas, Doris Pimple of Longmont, Ginger Hedger of Longmont and Geraldine Lopez of Longmont; six brothers, Alex Sewald, Adam Sewald and John Sewald, all of Denver, and Joe Sewald, Jake Sewald and Pete Sewald, all of Sterling; four sisters, Mary Melchoir of Julesburg, Katherine Schwelbein of Bowling Green, Ohio, Gertie Freeworth of Sacramento, Calif. and Betty Graber of Sterling; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at Howe Mortuary Chapel and mass is schedule for 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Rev. James Fox officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boulder County Hospice.
