William D. Graham 86 died Sunday in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday November 3, 2010 in the Cedar Gap Cemetery with Pastor Don Woods officiating under the direction of Girdner Funeral Home.
Mr. Graham was born February 29, 1924 in Tuscola to Jeff E. Graham and Lillie Mace Linville Graham and attended a one room schoolhouse in Cedar Gap. He served in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He worked 31 years for Jim Herb Exploration as a driller and farmed and ranched in Cedar Gap.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers Ben, Tom and Ray Graham.
Mr. Graham is survived by a brother Marion Graham of Cedar Gap, step daughter Sharon Winn of Abilene, sister in law Loraine Graham of Cedar Gap and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
