Obit:San Angelo Times Apr.6th, 1967 "Mrs. Eisenbach, San Angelo, Dies. Mrs. W.C. Eisenbach, 80, of 22 N. Park, died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday in a local nursing home after a long illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Johnson's Chapel with burial in Lawnhaven Cemetery. Grandson will be pallbearers. Mrs. Eisenbach was born Amanda Kunkel April 28, 1886 at Paige. She was married to W.C. Eisenbach Nov. 25, 1908 in Bastrop. Survivors include seven sons, Clarence Eisenbach, A.E. Eisenbach, Curtis Eisenbach, Oscar Eisenbach. Clyde Eisenbach, Cecil Eisenbach of San Angelo and Lee Eisenbach of Oklahoma City, Okla; four daughters, Mrs. Joe Peake of Oklahoma City, Mrs. L.W. Hirschfield and Mrs. Ervin Englert, both of San Angelo and Mrs. T. J. Conway of Houston; a brother Ed kunkel of Paige; a sister, Mrs. Ellie Graeter of Houston; 29 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren."

Amanda lost her hearing at a young age, always fussed with her hearing aids, when they kept ringing, loud enough for all to hear, most of the time she would not wear them, then people really had to talk loud. She loved her children and her farm life, especially her chickens. Many amusing things have been told to me, she did have a sense of humor and wit, we all loved her.
