Ira Clen Few Jr., 91, husband of Ida Ruth Steele Few, passed away Friday, September 7, 2007, at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Ira Clen Sr. and Lilly McCollum Few. He was an active member of Keowee Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and former Sunday school superintendent.
Along with his wife, survivors include three sons, Ira Edwin Few (Janice), Larry Donald Few (Melinda) and Charles Alton Few (Gail) all of Six Mile; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 309 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC, 29672, or to Keowee Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 247, Six Mile, SC 29682.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2007, in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m., before the service. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
